Minneriya National Park
Elephants could be viewed at almost all the nature reserves in Sri Lanka. The most notable is Miinneriya Park in the North Central Province around Minneriya reservoir, which is one of the most scenic in the island. It is well known for Elephants. Large numbers could be seen especially near the reservoir.
